Q: What's the difference between HDMI and DVI?
A: Both deliver the same quality picture via a digital signal. DVI is an older format that started out in the computer world. HDMI is a newer format that is found on late model HD TVs, Projectors and High-Definition video players. HDMI supports HDCP copy-protection and it can send video, audio, and control capabilities over the same cable. Both can deliver a 1080p image, but if you have a choice go with HDMI. |
