DVD Players: Two combo HD-DVD/Blu-ray players were on display: LG's second-generation BH200 features DTS-HD audio and HDi functionality. It has HDMI 1.3 and 1080p output. Samsung's BD-UP5000 will decode Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio, has HQV video processing, HDMI 1.3 7.1 ch and 1080p output. A/V Receivers: Pioneer unveiled their new flagship SC-09TX receiver. Featuring 1400 Watts, LCD Screen, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD decoders for about $7,000. Marantz top-of-the-line SR8002 decodes Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and both versions of DTS-HD for about $2450. Screens: Video screens featuring Cinemascope (2.35:1) aspect ratio were also on display.	Q: What is a Movie Countdown Leader? A: The film leader is known by many names, with the 2 most common head leader versions: Academy Leader, and SMPTE Leader. Academy Leader counts down from 11 to 3 with numbers marked every foot. Nine and Six are spelled out and the beep is heard at 3. SMPTE Leader replaced Academy Leader and counts down from 8 to 2 with numbers measured in seconds and not feet. It features the rotating clock arm animation. PICTURE START appears before the countdown and the beep is heard at 2. The leader is used both for the lab to line up sound via the beep with the picture, and for the projectionist to know when to turn on the lamp.
