Are you building a gorgeous home theater? Have reached the point where you need to decide what kind of viewing experience you really want to have?
Many people mistakenly believe that a simple painted white wall or a plain white bed sheet will do the job as well as a high-quality projector screen. Unfortunately, while you will see a picture of sorts with either of these options it will be one where detail, contrast, and color fidelity are heavily compromised.
Also if you are dealing with a room with a lot of light, like a living room home theater, you may want to consider using an ambient light rejecting screen.
Conventional paint on a wall isn’t designed to reflect light in an even way and, no matter how smooth the plaster on the surface, the light will be scattered.
A sheet is just as bad, adding a lack of flatness to that sorry list of failings. There are no two ways about it if you want a genuine cinema experience you’ll need a proper projector screen---and that goes for when you use an outdoor projector too!

After you have chosen your projector screen and installed it in your home theater, the final step is setting up the system so that you can start watching your favorite movie in your new decked-out cinema room.
This is actually easier than it sounds. You simply need to install an HDMI cable that sends HD video to the projector and a CAT5 wire to allow you to access the projector with an RF remote.
